The Ultimate Zero-Joint Waterproofing Technology
90% of flat roof failures occur at joints, seams, laps, and complex architectural penetrations (such as soil pipes, HVAC vents, roof lanterns, and parapet coping stones). Traditional sheet membranes struggle to seal around awkward shapes without leaving vulnerable seams.
LAVA 20 is a pure elastomeric hydrophobic polyurethane liquid waterproofing system. Applied cold with rollers and brushes, it cures into a flexible, continuous rubber blanket with zero seams, zero joints, and zero weak points. It can be applied directly over aged felt, asphalt, concrete, OSB, and weathered metal roofs — saving homeowners thousands of euros in tear-off and disposal costs.
LAVA 20 Technical Advantages
No welded seams or glue joints that can lift or leak over time. One unbroken protective layer.
Extreme flexibility that bridges thermal expansion and building settling from -40°C to +90°C.
Cold-applied with zero gas burners, eliminating all fire risks for timber roofs and commercial units.
Can be applied directly over sound existing felt or asphalt, cutting labour time and waste disposal fees.
Unlike acrylic coatings that re-emulsify in puddles, LAVA 20 cures into a fully water-submersible barrier.
High-tensile polyester mesh embedded in stress areas, internal corners, and outlets for maximum puncture protection.
Our LAVA 20 Application Protocol
Substrate Deep-Clean & Moisture Check
The roof surface is high-pressure washed, dried, degreased, and tested with electronic moisture meters.
Universal Primer & Detail Banding
We apply specialized primer suited to the substrate and embed reinforcing fleece around all outlets, vents, and upstands.
Double-Coat LAVA 20 Application
Two generous coats of pure polyurethane liquid rubber are applied with cross-directional roller passes to create an even 1.8mm membrane.
UV Topcoat & 25-Year Guarantee
A UV-protective aliphatic topcoat is sealed, ensuring resistance against fading and chemical erosion for up to 25 years.
